Blair Braden CFP®

Managing Principal & Chief Compliance Officer
303-261-8015

As Managing Principal of Denver Wealth Management, Inc. (DWM), Blair strives to improve each client's financial circumstances. To meet that goal, he seeks to be fully aware of the firm's clients' unique circumstances, educate them on their investment options, and implement effective strategies to address their specific objectives. Blair believes that approach allows his clients to establish confidence in their financial future. Blair is authentic and truly cares about his clients' success.

Blair was raised in a family with values of hard work, responsibility, and fellowship. Growing up on a cattle ranch, he developed many applicable skills for a life outside of agriculture. When Blair graduated from New Mexico State University with degrees in finance and business management, it was apparent that college had not sufficiently taught him the intricacies of personal finance, especially regarding wealth creation and preservation. He quickly recognized a great need for education and partnerships addressing the wealth journey. Thus, he co-founded DWM in 2012.

Blair’s experience and commitment to his work earned the team recognition as a Forbes 2024 Best-In-State Wealth Advisor. This award reflects not only the quantitative elements of our business (i.e., assets under management, annual growth rate, etc.) but also accounts highly for qualitative criteria, including areas such as our investment process, team structure, compliance record, service models, community engagement, and so on.

Before starting DWM, Blair began his career with ConocoPhillips, where he had the opportunity to experience the corporate world. Blair later transitioned into the financial services industry, initially working as a Financial Advisor for Waddell & Reed in Denver, Colorado.

In January 2020, Blair and his wife Karen became parents of their first human child, their son Bodhi. In April of 2022, they welcomed their daughter, Zurie, to the family. Blair and Karen love being parents. They also love animals and currently have one dog, Gus.

BLAIR'S PRESENCE IN STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO

In January 2021, Blair and Karen made a big decision for their family: they moved to Steamboat Springs, CO. A smaller, family-rooted community surrounded by ranching and ski culture attracted them to the Yampa Valley—a town where the cowboys have a skiing problem was quite attractive.

Since moving to Steamboat, they have become entrenched in the community and have brought the services of DWM to Northwest Colorado. Blair is an active Steamboat Springs Rotary Club member, allowing him and DWM to support the community by helping sponsor Rotary's annual Lobsterfest and Botanic Garden's passport event. Community involvement is important to the Braden family, investing both financially and with their time.

Albeit young, both Bodhi and Zurie have joined their parents with different community support opportunities. They aren't quite pulling their weight yet and sometimes are more "in the way," but Karen and Blair want their children to learn early the importance of supporting their community.

Blair is also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys spending his free time with his family in the woods, equipped with a fly rod, compound bow, and backpacking gear. Blair enjoys playing hockey, skiing, and traveling as well.

Blair Braden offers securities through LPL Financial, Member FINRA/SIPC. Investment Advice offered through Denver Wealth Management, Inc., a registered investment advisor. Denver Wealth Management, Inc. is a separate entity from LPL Financial.
